Job Description Job Description We are looking for a motivated
Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This
role offers an excellent opportunity to build foundational skills
in accounting while working in a collaborative and supportive
environment. You will gain hands-on experience in various financial
processes and contribute to the success of a growing organization.
Responsibilities: • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and
managing payments. • Assist with routine account reconciliations to
support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. •
Utilize Oracle Cloud systems to execute financial transactions and
prepare detailed reports. • Collaborate with internal teams to
support audits and ensure compliance with financial reporting
standards. • Participate in improving operational workflows and
identifying process enhancement opportunities. • Learn and apply
various accounting principles through hands-on projects and
mentorship from experienced professionals. • Support the
preparation and analysis of financial documents to aid
decision-making. • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial
operations and data management. • Contribute to team initiatives by
providing insights and suggestions for better efficiency in
accounting practices. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a
closely related field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including
the ability to manage data and perform calculations. • Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail. • Familiarity with
Oracle Cloud systems is a plus but not mandatory. • Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. •
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members. •
A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the
role. • Basic understanding of accounting principles and
practices.
