Maintenance and general repair experience is required. Must be 21 years old or older and hold a valid Florida drivers license and be capable of operating a facility vehicle and maintaining a safe driving record. For purposes of effective communication must be able to see, hear, speak, read, and write English. Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 50 lbs. and walk or stand up to eight hours. This is a full-time position. There will be a complete background check and an employment drug screen run on potential candidates. Job Duties Individuals that work in this department perform a variety of duties needed to maintain the facility and aircraft. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Airplane cleaning, airplane maintenance, airplane stocking Hangar upkeep Building maintenance, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, light carpentry work, and mechanical repairs Vehicle cleaning Custodial maintenance, floor maintenance, trash pickup, and equipment cleaning Running errands Other: Have and maintain a valid drivers license and driving record free of chargeable accidents or other safety violations. Demonstrate adequate mechanical aptitude. Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools. Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to comprehend and follow direction, perform basic math, good time management, and team member skills. Must be a team player with enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work well done; self-starter dedicated to continual quality improvement.
