Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist CRT like you to be a part of our team. What you will do in this role: - You will be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation. - You must be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader. - You will maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given. - You will set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages. What qualifications you will need: - Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred. - Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist. - American Heart Association BLS health care provider required. - ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire. - Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and moving equipment.
