Job Description We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a growing surgical team in Kissimmee. Position Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Practice Setting Hospital / Surgical Practice Position Overview The Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon will focus on the evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management of complex musculoskeletal injuries. The role involves working closely with emergency medicine physicians, surgical teams, and rehabilitation specialists to provide comprehensive trauma care. This position offers strong case volume, collaborative support, and an opportunity to build a thriving orthopedic trauma practice. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat traumatic musculoskeletal injuries Perform orthopedic trauma surgeries including fracture repair and reconstruction Review imaging, diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care Collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma and surgical teams Participate in on-call coverage for trauma cases Follow patients through recovery and rehabilitation Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation ??? Educate patients and families regarding treatment, recovery, and prevention ? Qualifications ? MD or DO from an accredited medical school ? Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery ? Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferred ? Active or eligible Florida medical license ? Strong surgical and decision-making skills ?
