Job Description:
HCA Healthcare invites applications for the role of Occupational
Therapy Assistant Home Health, an integral part of our patient care
team. Stationed at our dynamic home health division, this role
supports our mission of providing top-tier, personalized healthcare
services in home settings. Assisting certified occupational
therapists, you will help implement therapeutic plans tailored to
improve patients’ daily living and working environments. This
position is pivotal in facilitating the recovery and enhancement of
each patient's functional abilities, ensuring compassionate care in
the comfort and safety of their own homes. Assist occupational
therapists in evaluating patients’ needs and creating effective
home care plans. Implement therapeutic programs and monitor
progress. Educate patients and families on home exercises and use
of adaptive equipment. Ensure all care documentation is precise and
compliant with healthcare regulations. Regularly communicate with
healthcare team members to update patient progress and adjust care
plans as needed. Excellent interpersonal communication Knowledge of
therapeutic techniques and patient evaluation Proficient in
documenting and reporting Ability to educate and motivate patients
Strong organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant (COTA) licensure required. CPR certification
preferred.
