LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for
providing care to patients. This is achieved by utilizing the
Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and
hospital policy. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical
thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is essential in
anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintaining
clinical competencies through continuing education is required. The
Registered Nurse delegates patient care priorities commensurate
with the education and experience of the staff available. Providing
direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient
