Job Description Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Orlando, Florida. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location in Orlando, FL. /n /n Minimum Requirements /n - Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. - Active Florida Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. - BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. - Experience working in an acute care hospital or inpatient rehabilitation setting is preferred. - Demonstrated ability to perform patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and complete timely documentation per facility policy. - Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) or OT students preferred. - Ability to follow facility safety protocols, including safe patient handling and infection control procedures. /n Apply now and you will be contacted by a recruiter who will provide additional information. /n /n Assignment Details /n - Facility Type: Hospital. - Shift Pattern: Day (5x8). - Duration: 13 Week assignment. - Positions Available: 1. - Clinical Role: Provide evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, participate in interdisciplinary team and discharge planning, supervise COTAs and students, complete required documentation, and promote patient and employee safety. /n /n Location Highlights /n Orlando offers both urban attractions and nearby natural areas for varied lifestyles.
